One big design partnership to bring your work to life

While some projects are taking a winter pause, I’m making space for something new. I have a rare gap in my calendar—and I’d love to fill it with a project that matters. I’d like to offer my services to one purpose-led organisation to co-create a high-value design project, valued at $5,000 NZD.

This isn’t just a design giveaway

It’s a chance to work together on a big, meaty piece of work that needs thoughtful collaboration and clear, strategic design – it could be a ready-to-share report, toolkit or resource. Something layered, collaborative, and human, that has been waiting for time, capacity, or the right partner to bring them to life.

I believe in the power of design to shift narratives, support systems change, and amplify real voices. So, if you’re a small team doing big work, let’s turn your ideas into something powerful, purposeful, and beautifully designed.

What is it?

An open call for purpose-led organisations (charities, social enterprises, not-for-profits) to win a high-value design project with me. This could be a:

  • Research paper designed for impact

  • User manual or toolkit you want to make usable, beautiful, and shareable

  • Annual or funding report that truly connects

  • Co-design project that needs strategic, visual distillation

  • Synthesising complex content into accessible, compelling visuals

You bring the content, the vision, and the heart—I’ll bring structure, clarity, visual storytelling, and a polished final product.

Who should apply?

You don’t need a polished brief—just a clear sense of the problem you’re solving, who it’s for, and how design could help. You could be a:

  • Not-for-profits, charities, social enterprises, or research initiatives

  • Organisations where design could unlock clarity, reach, or impact

  • Individuals/teams who are actively involved in the project (no third-party nominations)

  • Open worldwide. Remote collaboration welcome.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a friendly 30-minute chat. It’s a chance to dig a little deeper, explore your goals, and make sure we’re a great fit before diving in.

A bit about me

I'm Tonielle, a Strategic Designer based in Blenheim, working locally and remotely across Aotearoa and Australia. With 14 years of experience across Noosa, London, Melbourne and Auckland, I've worked in-house, agency-side and independently — now running my own business, For Good Studio.

I started my business to focus on purpose-led work — using design to contribute to the kind of world I want to live in. The projects I’m most proud of are those with a social focus: where good strategy meets strong values and where beautiful design helps important work get seen and understood.

I'm at my most creative with a complex idea that I can solve visually. I love to collaborate with peers and clients alike to bring big ideas to life through beautiful, meaningful design.

When I’m not behind the computer (or a sketchbook), I’m a mum to three kids, eight chickens and a no-dig garden. My kitchen is usually busy with sourdough, preserves, ferments and herbal medicine. My happy place is a glass of wine with my husband, or a swim in the ocean.

“Working with Tonielle was a collective and creative process. Having someone who can interpret the sometimes fuzzy thinking and imagination of founders is not a given - but it's a gift that Tonielle has.  I’d highly recommend her work for anyone looking to translate their ‘dream’ into a reality.”

Why am I offering this?

Sometimes, the work slows down—and that’s okay. Instead of rushing to fill the gap with busywork or discounts, I’m choosing to create space for a project that makes a difference. This is my way of giving back, sharpening my practice, and doing the kind of design that energises me—and I hope it helps energise your work too.

This is for the kind of work that doesn’t always get the design attention it deserves—projects that are layered, nuanced, often complex or collaborative. The kind of work that helps tell real stories, shifts thinking, builds understanding, or moves systems forward.

So if you’re a charity, not-for-profit, or social enterprise doing work that matters, this is a rare opportunity to bring a big, strategic piece of communication to life—with thoughtful, human-centred design at its core.
